Isa Suarez  |  Keyboards, Electronics & Voice

Living Streams Connect is led by composer Isa Suarez, a classically trained musician from the Basque region. Described as “a music-maker defying boundaries and borders,” she creates contrasting sound worlds across film, visual art, VR and performance. Her work has been presented internationally at BBC, Tate Britain, Glastonbury and the Cannes Film Festival. Her compositions stem from her passion for how music can impact emotions and respond to nature and the human condition. She has collaborated with communities and organisations such as Greenpeace, Amnesty International and War Child.

Arowah  |  Bass & Voice

Arowah is a multi-instrumentalist, sound healer and activist. A recipient of the Steve Reid Award and nominee for an Ivors Composer Award, they have performed internationally and been featured on BBC 6 Music and NPR. Their work spans many styles, from jazz to electronic and experimental music. Arowah sees art as a way to build community, support wellbeing and explore both social and spiritual connection through sound.

Rihab Azar  |  Oud

Aga Khan Music Award 2025 finalist Rihab Azar, is a Syrian oud player, composer and educator based in the UK, and a graduate of the Conservatoire of Damascus and UCL. She released her debut album ‘Dandelion’ recently which has been described as one of the finest contemporary oud albums of recent years. Rihab has performed internationally and written and performed music for tv, theatre, film, radio, and visual art projects.

Rihab has joined Living Streams Connect in keeping with her experience as an active workshop facilitator within different community settings in London.

Mercedes Maresca  |  Flute

​​Mercedes Maresca is an Argentinian multi-instrumentalist, composer and improviser based in London since 1999. Her work explores a range of musical styles, including spiritual jazz, free jazz and experimental music. She collaborates across several projects, including KEME, Aranyaka and Elektryza Trio, and is currently working on her first solo flute album. Her latest project, Gotas de Colores, has been praised for its atmospheric and deeply expressive sound, with Wulf Muller describing her as “a very unique artist.”

I am excited to bring my exploratory approach to flute playing, inspired by the sounds of nature, to Living Streams Connect.

Beibei Wang   |  Percussion

Beibei Wang is a percussionist and composer celebrated for her “high energy virtuosity” (Wall Street Journal) and ability to unite classical and traditional Chinese percussion. She has performed with leading ensembles and orchestras worldwide such as the BBC Symphony Orchestra, Toronto Symphony Orchestra, and New Japan Philharmonic. A champion of new music, Beibei frequently collaborates with living composers, choreographers, and award-winning contemporary ensembles. Her album with Hannah Peel, The Endless Dance, is out now on Real World Records.

Beibei brings her passion for cross-cultural collaboration and pushing artistic boundaries to Living Streams Connect.
